Stolen?

I'm pretty sure this is stolen from VGDC. If it's not, then it's almost an exact copy, which is much the same thing. Please come up with your own ideas.

Very fun... but too hard

This game is far too hard, mainly because there is no temporary invinvibilty after you are hit or after you die. This makes it possible to lose two lives in the exact same spot, or more. If I were you I would just enable Easy, Medium, and Hard, which control the number of lives you start with... Infinite, 6, and 3 respectively. That way people like me who actually do worse the second time they play through will be able to see more than just the first level and boss fight.

[Newgrounds RPG Demo]

Great Job

It's a very good job, you've almost caught RPG elements perfectly. However, combat was much too easy (I was never hit if I pressed the attack button over and over) and there wasn't enough in this demo to give it a true judgment yet.

I don't want to be a dick, but I've been developing a flash RPG for over a year now and it's better, simply because it has more attention to detail. I'm releasing on NG soon, so glad to see that I'll have some competition!

Didn't Work

Yes, I do have Flash Player 7.

It wasn't running correctly, so I can only drastically lower my score. If I crouched, then it became impossible for me to move. If I moved to the right, I could never stop moving to the right. Every single time that little skateboarder kid came by he would rip my head off and my shooting him would do nothing.

In short, nothing seemed to be as great as the game is described. In fact, it seemed so bad that I would go so far as to say that it wasn't functioning...

So tell me why I am a dumbass or fix this if you want better points.

[Arrogancy Game Demo]

Hmm.. Way too slow

The game looked like it could be very cool indeed, but then when you get to the actual playing it is largely dissapointing.

Here are my gripes:

1) The guy moves way too slow for the amount of walking you do. It takes absolutely forever to get from one screen to the other, and there is only about 1 chick per screen. The other characters add little or nothing to it.

2) The whole strategy of the dating and how you do it was way too guess-based. For example, I very often got (Try to second guess what she wants) or something like that over and over again. At first I would guess from the very expressionistic faces, but then I kept getting this line and the answer was different each time. To win, you simply guess over and over again?

3) On top of the guy running slowly, the conversation went extremely slowly as well, especially the dating. It would take 10+ seconds to go between questions. It should be much more fast paced, and unless you're making my computer do huge calculations (something I doubt) then there is no reason it should be so slow.

4) When I finally guessed my way to a girl, all it does is give me a score bonus and say I've won. Nothing else happens. This was perhaps the most dissapointing thing of all. I'm simply running infinite date loops to get points? Something should happen if you win. (AKA a kiss, or the girl leaves, or something)

I hope you improve these things. If you do, you'll have a very solid game on your hands. If you don't... I won't be playing the full version.

[Megaman vs Metroid]

Great 'Port'

It's a very good remake of the original Metroid game, except that there's just one problem. The original Metroid was pretty boring/hard. I did not get to the end of this level when I found myself back in a circle, and it all seemed same old. Just like the original Metroid, it has this original fault.

[Mr. Hardball - Wild West]

I Like It!

This was good. It's just like a Kirby game that is on the SNES, which I was actually going to submit but it didn't work very well going by frame. I like how you incorporated all those Portal characters into it, especially Tricky the Clown. It was oh so great to blow off his head! Make more, and if you do be sure to include many more portal people. (Land Before Time X)

Not too shabby

Well, I do have a T1 so it didn't take long for it to load, but it was still not very good. It was a good effort though, and you should make more when you learn how to use Flash better.
